Quotes of the week:
“Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action.” Benjamin Disraeli.
“Love, in it’s purest, untapped form, does not hinge on the requirement that they’ll love you in return.” Briana Wiest
Busiest week for the Learning Village thus far, working on implementing Holacracy, wrapping up Progression Labs version 1, getting ready for the next iteration, had the Lowdown, went to LA for a day, saw War Horse, went to the Fashion Hackathon, so a friend DJ at the Gold Spike, and played soccer and frisbee. Wasn’t as productive with my weekend as I wanted to be, but I’m very okay with that. Oh, and went to a bunch of restaurants.
1) Blog consistently.
Rethinking this one. Did some personal assessment and predicting the future though. Let’s see how well that turns out.
2) Get outdoors.
Not this week. Though I’m hoping the government reopens before the closures affect my plans.
3) Continue to make my position evolve.
Check, for now.
4) Read more.
Finished The Shift Age. Working on Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul at the moment.
5) Stay in touch with people better.
Talked to Adelaide after a ridiculous amount of phone tag.
6) Finish up my obligations in Chapel Hill.
Two papers in for review.
7) Run the half or full marathon in Las Vegas this November.
Still going. Best soccer win since being in Vegas this week.
8) Get 7 hours of sleep a night.
Might have figured out a solution to the no blinds thing…
