What happened last week? Met with some (more) new folks planning on moving downtown, went to a couple of great events on Monday, continued my staycation/house-sitting/puppy-sitting adventures,
was reminded of why I love my normal 30 second commute to work, went to a Ryan Cabrera concert (don’t judge, it was free and the view was awesome),
wrote some, went to a Pajama party, played frisbee, read some, biked around, had multiple one on one dinners/lunches/coffees, and acted as an airport shuttle (paying it forward yo).
1) Blog consistently.
Pieces submitted to DTP and GMP. Might be the first month I’ve done both.
2) Get outdoors.
Took an hour to bike around Springs Preserve. Totally worth it. Should I have been writing? Yep.
3) Continue to make my position evolve.
Same as last week. Post April should be interesting. Also had a really productive meeting to try and make this happen.
4) Read more.
Working on Friendfluence (still). Reading time is being cut down as I am stuck trying to write things for number 6.
5) Stay in touch with people better.
Talked to Alex (who got into VFA!!!) and Surbhi (kinda bad that talking to someone who lives in town on the phone might be considered staying in contact… ). And ran into Laura who was here for the weekend. She’s the first friend that I have visited who has also visited! Not bad for the two of us, since before this winter I don’t think we had seen each other in a couple of years.
6)Finish up my obligations in Chapel Hill.
Started last week. Continued this week! Still way behind, but at least I have something going now?
7) Run the half or full marathon in Las Vegas this December.
Hopefully I’ll be writing a blog post after successfully completing the Super Spartan without training… Also went to frisbee for the first time in a while.
8) Get 7 hours of sleep a night.
Definitely did not do it every night this past week. I blame the puppies.
