Weekly Review 5/19

Am halfway into my streak of not really being here on the weekends, did a two day leadership retreat/training where I met some really cool folks, had some great phone conversations, worked on Firebrand stuff, had two friends come visit, went to a Yellowcard concert (where I saw other people I knew, which was great), frolicked around Downtown, took a day trip to Zion/Kolob Canyons (one of these days I’ll do the travel post before doing the weekly review post), had my first conversion attempt to Mormonism, discovered a fantastic little Italian joint in St. George, hung out by the Juhl pool, went to a mediocre Strip buffet, sang along to a Backstreet Boys song at the Bellagio fountains, and saw Absinthe. All in all, a pretty successful/busy week.

1) Blog consistently.
Maybe not happening with all of this upcoming travel.

2) Get outdoors.
Day trip to Zion. On top of my Catalina adventure last weekend. This might be the resolution I’m doing best of all of them.

3)  Continue to make my position evolve.
Check

4)  Read more.
Working on Built to last.

5) Stay in touch with people better.
Talked to Adelaide, Amber, and Ariana. Also had Elizabeth and Victoria come visit.

6) Finish up my obligations in Chapel Hill.
Sorta done. Just editing to come my way.

7) Run the half or full marathon in Las Vegas this December.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this one…

8) Get 7 hours of sleep a night.
Again, failed miserably. But I blame another really fun weekend.
