Weekly Review 10/20

Quote of the week:

“Set aside a certain number of day, during which you shall be content with the scantiest and the cheapest fares, with coarse and rough dress, saying to yourself the while: “Is this the condition that I feared?”” Seneca

Busy work week, second week of swing dancing Downtown, got UNLV downtown for a different reason other than classes, documentary screening, saw Sister Act, was a facilitator at the Downtown Achieves summit (which went really well), sat through a long city council meeting, actually had enough time to do some work as opposed to have meetings, got to play soccer and frisbee, and catch up with some friends. Oh, and sneak peak at a new restaurant opening up downtown.

1) Blog consistently.
Meh.

2) Get outdoors.
Timing didn’t work out this weekend.

3) Continue to make my position evolve.
Check, for now.

4) Read more.
Finished Crisis Tales. Now working on Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the Brain Rules.

5) Stay in touch with people better.
Talked to Ethan after playing phone tag. Also talked to a couple of VFA applicants, woot!

6) Finish up my obligations in Chapel Hill.
In progress.

7) Run the half or full marathon in Las Vegas this November.
Won’t be running it because I’m cheap. Not sorry.

8) Get 7 hours of sleep a night.
Kinda sorta again. I’ve got to figure out a better sleep pattern. But sleep is important according to this article/new discovery.
