Weekly Review 9/22

Quotes of the week:

“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” Mark Twain

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” Albert Einstein

Really just an incredibly busy week at work. Went to frisbee. Our soccer team won its 4th game. Another low key weekend, but I’ve booked flights to Chapel Hill and almost got one for DC too. Travel bug is starting up again. Although maybe I should go to a national park this coming weekend before they get shut down if the budget doesn’t get worked out…

1) Blog consistently.
Finished a small piece about the Zappos Grand Opening.

2) Get outdoors.
Took a bit of a break. Should have gone to Red Rock today though.

3) Continue to make my position evolve.
In a good place. Now just need to get some more people power…

4) Read more.
Finished Unbowed and the 4-Hour Work Week. Still working on the Happiness Hypothesis and Freefall. Checked on my goal of reading a a book a week, and I’m definitely on pace. Now I need to catch up on reviews.

5) Stay in touch with people better.
Talked to Alison, Amanda, and Elizabeth.

6) Finish up my obligations in Chapel Hill.
Now I know why publishing takes so long…

7) Run the half or full marathon in Las Vegas this November.
Regular soccer and frisbee routine now. Running and Real Results start tomorrow.

8) Get 7 hours of sleep a night.
Did better this week. Think the early morning runs and exercise might be interesting for my schedule.
